SCALE was the first European project on collaborative argumentation. During the project an internet-based intelligent tool was designed to support collaborative argumentation-based learning in secondary schools.
In the project the Rainbow analysis framework was developedanalysing when and how students engage in a specific form of interactive knowledge elaboration in CSCL environments: broadening and deepening understanding of a space of debate.
